what a season it was on the upper feather river ! today marked the last day on the upper feather river. fishing remained solid from opening day to the very end. getting limits of big king salmon was the ticket every day. spinners as well as sardine wrapped plugs known as kwikfish or flat fish did the trick. this evening produced fast limits of hard fighting king salmon for these clients. what a season it was to remember !
Gear & Tackle Used:
gear and tackle that were used was okuma Sst rod with diawa lexa 300 line counter reals 65lb. main line 3 foot 25 pound leader on a 3 way swivel with a foot long leader long for your dropper weight the weight that we were using was 4 ounce weight then tied on your leader line was a brads killer fish draggon fly that lure has been the hot ticket this year !
